Leading Edge Equine Sports Therapy, giving you that Extra  Edge!

Picture

Throughout the years I've noticed that each successful horse had a key thing in common, they each had their own "Team". This Team always included a Trainer(sometimes this was the owner, sometimes it wasn't), a Veterinarian, a Farrier and an Equine Sport Therapist(EST). This group of people, each with their own area of expertise, all worked together for one common goal; to keep that athlete feeling and performing at his best. Since I was young I've always been the one that wanted to hold horses for these team members and would try to absorb every bit of knowledge I could! So in 2009, after years of thinking about it, I finally began pursuing a career as a EST and I'm so glad I did! I absolutely love my job and am passionate about helping your horse reach their optimum comfort and performance. You invest a lot of time and money in getting your athlete to where they are, why not give yourself that Extra Edge?

Take Time to Enjoy the Ride,

I've been using Tiffany for a few years now, she's been through multiple horses with me and my training career. I'm a firm believer myself in massage to keep a healthy physical body that's why I carry it on with my horses. Its amazing to have someone you can trust to get the job done. I've always loved how my horses feel after Tiffany has work on them. She's helped me with ones I'm just starting on to my finished ones. Its way easier for my horses to learn when they are feeling great so it's important in my program of training barrel horse to have them worked on regularly so I can have my horses in the best learning state to achieve our goals with futuritys or rodeos. Tiffany has proven to me she can rejuvenate and get them ready for my next competition everytime. I'm very excited to have my horses on the Leading Edge Team. Can't wait to see what the 2017 season has to bring. Leading Edge is an excellent asset to my team!

Tiffany Burns is a valued member of the Lanzelot Eventing Stables support team. With over 20+ competitions in a given season and several at the CC**level and higher, our competition horses' well being is of the utmost importance. Tiffany is a reliable and competent horse person. Her thoughtful process has given me valuable information about how my mare Femika's training is going. Thank you to Tiffany Burns for her dedication and ongoing professional services. I look forward to having her work on the whole team in the upcoming 2016 season.

I've been using Tiffany for the past four years and believe in her work 100 percent . Each one of our horses has benefited greatly from Tiffany's expertise and she is one of the first people we call if something seems a little off or their performance isn't up to par. There's been a couple times when clearly my horses where not up for competition that weekend and she has been able to get them back to running condition after just one treatment. On one occasion in particular, it was like a miracle Guy came totally sound within an hour of her working on him and performed excellently the same day and stayed sound. This year while seasoning my young horse, Fame, he has had some unfortunate slips and trips trying to figure out how to use himself on different ground situations. Tiffany has been his savior on keeping him feeling good with regular appointments. I can't thank Tiff enough for her knowledge, work and great helpful personality and I look forward to continuing to have her on my team in the future. Don't hesitate to look her up, you will not be disappointed!

Tiffany is my “go to girl” whenever there is a problem or a change needed for my horses I call upon her first. And lets face it, no horse is ever the same so having the option to get custom herbal blends, custom exercise and stretching routines couldn’t suite me and all my horses more perfectly! But it doesn’t stop here, Tiffany really is so informative and knowledgeable in so many aspects of the horse she leaves me feeling confident in my decisions, thus leading to optimal performance! I believe it takes a team to be at the top of your game and I am forever thankful to have Tiffany as an essential part of my team.

I have been using Tiffany for about three years now.
I have a middle aged large Oldenburg gelding that I practice 3 day eventing with.

She has helped me pinpoint tight or sore parts of my horse's body to co-ordinate my ridding and workload schedule. I can use her advice and add stretching and exercises to strengthen weakness throughout his body. My horses stomach issues and joint pain have greatly improved as well as both his physical and mental appearance.

Tiffany has become a huge part of my team to keep my horse happy, healthy and keep our training schedule moving forward.

Melissa & Bailey

My horse is a mare and like most mares she lets you know when something is wrong. When Bailey tells me something is up that’s when I turn to the one person I can trust to help me and my horse get back on track, Tiffany. She is always available when I need her and understands that my horse is my number one priority. Tiffany not only helps Bailey when she comes out to massage her but she also offers stretches and supplements that will allow Bailey to heal and stay healed during the rodeo season. Without Tiffany I would still have a sore, grumpy, head shaking mare and for that I am very grateful.

Kerrie Jewell-Harrison & Handsome Jack

Jack has been in training from a western pleasure horse to a dressage diva for the last 18 months - he is a intelligent horse, with super natural paces, throughout his training the only movement he has had consistent trouble with is picking up his left lead canter - and it was during a session that he came up lame....it was obvious that is was muscular so I called Tiffany to take a look. I was so pleased with how quickly she responded and how his history, his workload and my expectations were important to her.

Jack was miserable, bad tempered and obviously in pain, Tiffany handled him professionally and kindly - never expecting him to stand stock still and listening and watching his body language - she quickly pinpointed that he had an old and deep injury in his left shoulder and that this could of been the reason that as we asked him to work, sit and collect his body could simply not cope..hence his lameness.

Tiffany worked with Jack over about 6-7 sessions - he was kept out to allow him movement, and being a horse that likes to run he probably didn't do much to help his injury.  I am so pleased that once we were able to bring him back into work he has remained sound and as we start to just push a little the left lead canter has not been an issue, he is happy to sit and come over his back and is looking beautiful and his lateral work has improved. I cannot recommend Tiffany enough and I will continue to have her do follow up sessions as we continue our training.
